Types of eternity rings –

  • Half eternity rings – Just like its name the ring has stones and diamonds only on the one-half side. The number of the stones depends upon the size of the ring and the size of stones. Mostly the stones are uniform in size in these rings but it can also contain tapering stones too. These are an affordable category of eternity rings and can also be resized, unlike the full ones.
  • Eternity rings with claw settings – the setting of the eternity ring gives it a unique look and style. This is the most popular setting of eternity rings and is also known as prong setting. This is the oldest style of setting stones in a ring. It contains metal prongs that run up the side of the gem for holding it effectively like a claw and here the gems are not having space to move. It is well suited for round gemstones and allows a better surface area for light and shimmer reflection. It is well suited for shiny gemstones and looks amazing even from multiple angles. There is a variation of this setting which is known as shared prong which increases the number of gems that your ring can hold.
  • Eternity rings with Channel setting – this is a new type of ring setting which is non-traditional and it holds the gem in place with the help of a groove which has a lip that is located above the gem. This gives a floating appearance to the gem and is best suited for round stones, princess cut stones and baguette cut stones.
  • Eternity rings with Bezel setting – this is a secure gem setting which is also known as bar setting. They are held and framed in the ring. In this style, each gem can be presented separately as an individual piece. This is mostly used in unique eternity rings.
